5th Annual

CHRISTMAS EVE SERVICE TO HONOUR OUR FALLEN

WITH CANDLES (SUPPLIED), TO BE

PLACED ON THE

TOMB STONES OF OUR FALLEN.

MOUNT HOPE CEMETERY

DECEMBER 24TH 4:45PM TILL 5:30PM

Come out with your coffees and hot chocolate and start your Christmas off honouring our fallen and feel the pride for our soldiers and the pride of being Canadian

2017,  did see a snow fall that began at 4:30 and continued through the service.  Because of the snow and the coldness, phones froze up to deliver music.  The microphone did still work.  The bag pipes, played by Glen Howie also froze up close to the end of Amazing Grace.  I believe the weather played a factor in the expect numbers of people to attend.  The success is not in the numbers, but the beauty of the service to honour our fallen.  It is a beautiful and inspiring way to begin your festivities of Christmas.
